There seems to be a stir over this article in the New England Journal of Medicine about brain dead people not really being dead and the implications for organ donation. So here are my two cents:
In most states, you have to sign up to be an organ donor. I would say that it would be important to inform people that want to be organ donor about this. Then, if they are still for it, they should be aloud to sign up to donate their organs when they are brain dead or all the way dead. After all, giving your life for the sake of others is an honorable thing. Jesus did.
