Michael Williams for US Senate

In the post below, Matt at Search for Freedom (whom I had given up on for lack of posts), left a comment mentioning Micheal Williams. Commissioner Williams is running for US Senate here in Texas.

In Texas, the Railroad Commissioners have a lot more power than their title implies. They have regulate oil and natural gas pipelines and infrastructure and production in a state famous for both. The Commissioners are elected to 6-year terms. So I feel comfortable with someone going from Commissioner to Senator.

According to Commissioner Williams website, he shares many of my beliefs. He is pro-life, small government, pro-gun, and is not afraid to mention God on his website.

He definitely sounds like someone that I could vote for. Thanks for bringing him to my attention, Matt.

Alright. Alright, I'm sorry. I don't even know what caused my 2 month abscence. A combination of being disenfranchised by losing the election, and other things going on in my life. I won't give up on blogging.. I enjoy it too much.
