This story didn't make the MSM as far as I know, but I really liked it. It is about a runner (Tasha Danvers-Smith) from Great Britain who found out that she was pregnant before the Athens games in 2004. The media pressed her to have an abortion. Instead she and her husband/coach decided to keep the baby and forgo the Olympics in Athens. This year in Beijing she won a bronze medal in the 400 meter hurdles.
