Marriage Wins!

Amid the flurry of Wednesday, I got a glimmer of hope. OneNewsNow had an article celebrating the fact that marriage won across the country. Praise the Lord! Though our country seems morally bankrupt, I can still see the Lord working in mighty ways.

I agree. Keeping marriage between and man and woman...the way God intended it to be...was a bright spot in a dreary day.

Hello, Saved American. Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting. This news was a bright spot indeed.

I am also glad that the pro-traditonal marriage amendments won in Florida, Arizona and California!
Yet, realistically, I think the homosexual movement has continued to make progress with their goals in so many institutions of our culture. The pro-homosexual philosophy controls the Democrat party, most of our educational establishement, many influential institutions and organizations and even the policies of many business corporations. And the win in California was only by a 52% to 48%
margin. This give us some breathing room. But oh for a reformation and renewal of Biblical and traditional values in our society and culture!

I am also glad that pro-traditional marriage amendments passed in Florida, Arizona and California, though the 52% to 48% margin in California this time was very close. I only wish and hope that we might have a moral and cultural renewal in many of the institutions of our society and among the younger people especially that would reverse the trend toward immoral anarchy and cultural destruction in our nation.

FRANCES,
I send a mild apology for posting two similar messages above. As I was ending the first post my hand slipped and hit the wrong key on my computer. My message disappeared and I did not think it was posted. So that was the reason for the second and similar message.

No problem, Raymond. I thought that was probably what happened, but posted them anyway. I always enjoy hearing your point of view.
